DED Overview
Our DED is a very easy to install unit that fastens with four bolts to the bottom of the track. It is therefore easy to remove when standard track maintenance is performed. Our DEDs can be onfigured to be wired into existing cables or can be equipped with a radio transmitter that will deliver any alarms regarding any dragging equipment or derailed wheels on the train directly to the driver via the telemeter display. The radio transmitter comes with vandal-proof batteries with a guaranteed lifespan of ten years.
